Camila Belarmino

Camila is a professional dancer and teacher with experience in classical ballet, contemporary dance, and jazz dance. She graduated from the Federal University of Paraíba in Brazil majoring in dance. She furthered her studies with the Bolshoi Theater School in Brazil and is certified with the teaching diploma of Vaganova methology for the full 1- 8 years Vaganova syllabus. Camila had the opportunity to enjoy her dance education with renowned teachers in Brazil such as Fernanda Barreto, Romero Motta, Toshie Kobayashi, Stella Paula, Caio Nunes, among others. Camila has received acclaimed awards as a dancer and choreographer from Joinville Dance Festival, FAC-Art and Creativity Festival in Brazil, and Danzamerica in Argentina.

In 2019, she was chosen to be part of a dance exchange production at Marcelo’s Move Dance School in Switzerland directed by Marcelo Pereira.  With Marcelo Move Dance School, she took part in ballet and contemporary productions which performed throughout Switzerland, Europe and Brazil. This has brought her to Switzerland where she took residence and has joined our school since 2022 working with students of all ages.
