Autumn Workshop Program
This Autumn Yen Han Dance Center will offer opportunities to keep on your practice with week ballet courses, as well contemporary dance course.
There will be , in both schools (Küsnacht and Witikon) Ballet classes for children from 06 to 08 years old and for older dance students (10yo and +) with our artistic director aYen Han, with Seh Yen Kim, one of our regular teachers, while there will be a unique opportunity to take expand the dance knowledge exploring the contemporary techniques, with the guest dancer and teacher, Ricardo Campos Freire.
Ballet Intermediate with Yen Han
October 11th to 15th
For dance students from 10 years old and above
This workshop focus on going deeper on more complex ballet techniques, exploring different variety of dance steps, including turns, jumps and simple pointe work.

Ballet Beginners with Yen Han
October 11th to 15th
For little dancers from 6 to 8 years old
The little dancers will get the chance to practice intensively the foundation of ballet. They will stretch on the floor, strengthen the muscles and then practice with exercises at the barre, and finally center work.

Teacher: Seh Yun Kim is an internacional experienced dancer and teacher, that besides her knowhow, pursued to ground her knowledge doing a Master of Dance at the Zurich Univerity of Arts (ZhDK), where she also worked as a guest choreographer for the Tanz Akademie.

Contemporary Dance with Ricardo Campos Freire
October 18th to 22th
For dance students from 10 years old and above interested to learn more about the moving body
Why do we move?
Flowing Identity is a contemporary dance workshop taught by Ricardo Campos Freire. The dancers will be conducted and encouraged to create their own movement identity with exercises and inputs that explore the continuous movement, while freely exploring the space and different rhythms. During the encounters the students will have the opportunity to discover their bodies as a driving and creative force and work on the concept of meaningful movement.

Teacher: Ricardo Campos Freire is a dancer and choreographer that started his career at the Portuguese Company of Contemporary Dance, then travelled around Europe dancing in different companies such as Italy, Croatia, Switzerland, Serbia, Germany, Bósnia and Herzegovina, Portugal, Montenegro and Sweden, but now only, as well in Asia, in South Korea and Vietnam. Now her is a guest artist at Tanzkompanie bo komplex, Yen Han Ballet Productions, DAF (Dance Arts Faculty), Choreoloop, WestDeutsches Tanztheater, and Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern.
